This book has so many facets, you will find it hard to put down.  It brings to life, biblical, Roman and current day characters.  It's a fabulous fictional adventure based on factual events.  You will absolutely love Klass' first novel.

A historical novel that will challenge your knowledge of the Christmas story.  The ancient part of the story humanizes the magi and gives deeper meaning to their journey.  The modern part of the story has you questioning the real story of Santa Claus.  The feminist theme throughout reveals the strong intelligent female influence throughout the authors life.

What a great read.  I spent all my free time in 2 days to complete.  The combination of historical information, ancient stories, and the banter between the author and his wife makes you want to find out what comes next.

The author does an excellent job of bringing history to life.  A DNA test leads the main character on a journey to learn about his families background.  This send the story back 2000 years into the past, where historical facts are mixed with fictional characters that are part of the Christmas story.  The characters are very well developed and the narrative draws the reader into a great adventure, while deftly tying the story back to the modern era and the impact on the main character and his family.  This book would make a great movie!  Looking forward to the next book in the series.
